**Job Summary**:
Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Fiscal Director. This position plans, directs and administers Fiscal Services, Student Business Services and Receiving for Estrella Mountain Community College while collaboratively working with the college community. This position provides leadership and strategic direction for the college’s financial functions while maintaining fiscal integrity, compliance and internal controls.

**Essential Functions**:
30% - Collaborates and coordinates with college and district leaders, faculty, and staff to ensure compliance with policies and regulations; monitors and approves expenditures; administers and oversees contracts and procurement activities; continuously improves departmental performance and leads change.

30% - Directs and oversees Fiscal Services, Student Business Services, and Receiving and all related staff; leads the development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures; evaluates and maintains fiscal integrity and policy and regulatory compliance of operations and systems; ensures compliance with regulations and laws and develops goals and provides project management; plans programs and training.

25% - Serves as knowledge expert, overseeing, and providing analyses and recommendations regarding fiscal and district wide issues; represents the department to the district, community and partners; responds to and resolves difficult or complex issues or complaints; exercises accountability for function activity and related decisions; implements internal audit, risk assessment; directs and administers financial management services and reporting.

15% - Monitors and provides analyses of college budget and fund balances; tracks expenditures and advises faculty and staff on budget spending, financial reporting, training on financial systems and provides recommendations on financial issues; performs other duties as assigned commensurate to grade level of position.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and six (6) years of full-time equivalent progressively responsible professional finance experience that includes planning, directing and administering comprehensive programs and fiscal services that includes two years of management and supervisory experience.
