Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport residents to and from designated areas within the nursing home, including dining rooms, therapy sessions, and recreational activities.
- Provide emotional support and engage in friendly conversation to enhance the overall well-being of residents.
- Ensure residents' comfort by assisting with mobility aids, such as walkers or wheelchairs, as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing and caregiving staff to coordinate escort services efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with residents, their families, and fellow staff members.
- Respond promptly to calls for assistance and address any concerns related to resident comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for patient transport, infection control, and confidentiality.
- Participate in training programs to stay informed about proper patient handling techniques and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
- Physical fitness and the ability to assist residents with mobility needs.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and the aging process is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
