**Job Summary**:
The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for promoting the game of golf and the Club while providing the Three Steps of Service to the Members and guests. They are tasked with providing quality service, ordering necessary merchandise, and managing the golf shop operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional experiences for all patrons.

**Primary Duties**:

- Provide excellent and friendly customer service, including accurately handling transactions at the register.
- Respond to inquiries and make tee times for Members, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring a focus on their needs while maintaining professionalism under Club policy.
- Assist the Golf Shop Manager in managing inventory controls, merchandise check-in, organization of storage and display areas, and aid in receiving merchandise while adhering to associated requirements to ensure stocked items are maintained at appropriate levels.
- Assist the Golf Shop Manager and Assistant Golf Professionals with various tasks.
- Open and close the Pro Shop according to established procedures.
- Demonstrate professional and courteous phone etiquette with proficiency in transferring the call to accurate personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness of the golf shop.
- Handle Member complaints professionally and courteously.
- Seek to stay familiar with and up to date on golf course operations.
- Adhere to company standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
- Keep accurate pace of play records.
- Treat Members and coworkers with respect and professionalism.
- Adapt positively to changing circumstances.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus.
- Knowledge of golf, rules, and tournament formats a plus.

**Education & Experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

**License Certifications**:

- Valid Driver's License required.

**Reporting Structure**:

- Reports to Golf Shop Manager & Assistant Golf Professionals.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
