Screen Printing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly qualified Screen Printing Supervisor to oversee the production of high-quality, large-format retail graphics in a fast-paced printing environment. Our screen printing operation includes two 5-color M&R inline presses and two 1-color Sakurai cylinder presses.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise and lead a team of screen-printing press operators and technicians.
- Manage production schedules and ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.
- Analyze job orders and determine resource allocation for equipment, materials, and personnel.
- Maintain strict quality control procedures throughout the printing process.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with pre-press, finishing, and shipping departments for seamless project flow.
- Train and develop team members on proper screen-printing techniques and equipment operation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, advocating for their integration when beneficial.

**REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in screen printing production, preferably with large-format graphics.
- Strong understanding of screen printing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Solid command of English; fluent or functional Spanish a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality production.
- With or without an accommodation, must be able to life and handle 40 lbs. while pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, and twisting.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime, including weekends.
- Must be able to pass an Ishihara Color Blind Test.
- Some experience with Six-Sigma manufacturing processes (e.g., providing TAKT time of presses) a plus.

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
