**Description**

**We are looking for a talented Operations Administrator to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Distribution Business Segment in Whitestown, IN**
- Under direct or close supervision, enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records.
- Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
- Perform other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records, preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)
- Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

**Experience**

Minimal or no work experience required.
- This person will assist in managing inventory at our external warehouses.
- Ensure parts are scheduled for delivery in coordination with the production schedule.
- Maintain accurate inventory with regular reconciliation.
- Facilitate systematic location changes via data entry.
- Potentially visit external warehouses periodically (if this is permitted).
- Schedule various customer and vendor shipments.
- With guidance, determine whether short-term storage is required for finished goods to support workflow.
- Participate in invoice GL coding.
- Participate in in-house inventory activities (cycle counting, inventory adjustments, etc.).

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
