Technology Teacher for Summer Camp

iCAMP in the Hamptons is looking for passionates Physical Education teachers for our 2024 summer camp season.

Our teachers are responsible for creating a dynamic, engaging experience for our summer campers This includes fostering a fun and safe environment while helping campers learn about new technology and think creatively.

Teachers will develop and facilitate their own lessons for multiple age groups. In addition to creating an engaging learning environment, teachers are responsible for supervising campers, leading games and activities, and maintaining a safe atmosphere while on duty.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB**

**General**:

- Plan and participate in indoor and outdoor activities for summer campers
- Hours are 8:00am - 3:30pm
- Camp runs from June 10 - August 30. Teachers may choose to work part of the summer if unable to commit to all of the weeks. However, they must be able to provide all of their available weeks upon hiring.

**Instructional**:

- Prepare for lessons with iCAMP provided curriculum, and teach a class with an average of 20-24 campers
- Ensure all campers are meeting set curriculum goals

**QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

Teachers / tutors should have experience developing lessons and be enthusiastic about education. Teacher salaries are competitive and based on experience. Please note that this is a day camp, so housing is not included.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
