**Summary**:
Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of multiple product lines which includes staffing, work assignments, final quality assurance, material flow and overall area productivity.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Meets shift operation requirements such as prescribed quality standards, production schedules, safety standards, cost controls, equipment maintenance and repair, and floor logistics.

Schedules current work with Customer Service to ensure deliveries are made on time and within quality guidelines while adhering to all work processes and procedures; safety rules and regulations.

Leads daily production meetings for each cell and ensures items are identified, assigned actions and completed.

Takes ownership of Standard Work documents and playbooks in specified areas.

Provides leadership to production employees to include counseling, disciplining, training and development, adherence to company policies and procedures, approving hours worked and time off.

Determines root cause to problems with on time delivery (OTD).

Drive On-time to delivery issues to root cause and enter the reason codes for missed shipments in the database by established deadline.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
