Barista/cashier

New Grafton coffee shop is looking to secure Fulltime and Parttime weekday/weekend experienced baristas. We are looking to hire a hard-working, self-motivated, and high-energy individuals to join our staff. Job will start around June 1st. Hourly pay is $10 - $15; but can potentially earn up to $25/hr (or more) with tips.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers as they enter
- Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Maintain stock of clean mugs and coffee equipment
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

**Skills**
- Previous work experience as a Barista
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, climb stairs, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
- Available to work flexible hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers' preferences
- Excellent communication skills; Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- High school diploma; relevant training is a plus

**Job Type**: Full-time, Part-time

**Pay**: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour base

**Coffee shop**

Schedule:

- 8 - 10 hr shifts, Daytime: 6am - 3pm, 7am - 4pm; Afternoon/Evening: 2pm - 8pm, 4pm - 10pm
- Hours of Operation will be 6am - 10pm, 7 days a week
