**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the nature of home health care and of the diseases, conditions and disabilities that require home health care services.
- Be caring, respectful and helpful to patients with special needs.
- Provide emotional support to patients with special needs.
- Follow the plans established by the nurses, therapists and doctors.
- Hoyer lift and Sit to Stand experience a plus.
- Prepare a clean, safe and healthy environment for patients with special needs.
- Perform daily tasks for related to cleanliness, organization and other household routine activities such as, but not limited to, cooking and laundry.
- Help with maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

The current position is for 5.5 hours total in the Fall River area split up between Wednesday and Friday starting at 10am. Portuguese speaker preferred. There is opportunity to grow if you seek more hours as well with other clients in the area.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
