**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive transition strategy to Microsoft technologies, including Azure cloud services.
- Build and manage a team specialized in Microsoft technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment of the IT transition with business needs.
- Oversee the integration of Microsoft security practices and compliance measures into our IT operations.
- Maintain robust IT governance and project management processes to ensure successful delivery of the transition project.
- Serve as the chief architect of our internal IT landscape, optimizing our internal IT technology stack for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers. Evaluate vendor solutions and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to understand business requirements and priorities. Communicate IT initiatives, progress, and challenges effectively across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, standards, and regulations, with extra credit for experience with HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and Meaningful Use.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
