The Dance Academy of Virginia, located in McLean and Alexandria VA and awarded Best Dance School in Mclean for 2022, 2023, & 2024 offers programs for students ages 2 and up with pre-professional, children & adult programming in ballet and contemporary styles. We are a professional team of experienced teachers and staff, who work together to nurture and support our students through quality dance education
The Dance Academy of Virginia is recruiting experienced dance teachers to teach all levels and ages in the school. Dance styles include
- jazz, hip-hop, acro, and competition choreography and rehearsals. Lesson planning, choreography, and performance preparation expected.
Teaching experience is required, with a professionally trained background in your styles of expertise. Priority is given to versatile teachers who can teach pre-school through upper elementary and teen in jazz, hip-hop, and acro.
Weekend and after school teaching is required.
Full-time position considered based on experience and ability to teach the range of age and skill levels.
