**Job Opportunity: Refrigeration Technician**

**REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on ice makers, fountain equipment, and frozen carbonated beverage systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment, identifying the root cause of malfunctions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of refrigeration systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of parts used and work performed.
- Respond to service calls promptly, providing excellent customer service and efficiently resolving issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete larger projects or complex repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with refrigeration systems.
**REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS**:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as this position may require driving a company van to various job sites.
- EPA certification and Refrigeration Certification. Ability to maintain, repair, and install various types of refrigeration equipment
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the trade, such as gauges, meters, torches, and welding equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately. Previous experience as a refrigeration technician or in a related field, such as appliance repair or mechanical maintenance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
**There is a large pay range on this position due to the salary being based on prior experience, education, and skill level coming into the job.**
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
