Police Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Protects the District’s students, employees, and properties. In tandem with the District’s management team, maintains an orderly and safe learning environment where teachers may teach, and students have the opportunity to learn. Enforces municipal ordinance, county, state, and federal laws. Works independently.

Applicants must have obtained a high school diploma or GED; currently meet all requirements to be certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) as a peace officer for the State of Texas upon employment; and driving record must be acceptable according to standards developed jointly by the Department of Public Safety and the Texas Education Agency.

Pay: $58,940.00 - $69,357.00 per year
