This position reports to the School Leadership Fellow.

**JOB DETAILS**
- Believe in the schools core values of: scholarship, belonging, passion, responsibility, and integrity;
- Possess the following certifications:

- Speech Language Pathologist License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Massachusetts Office of Educator Licensure (ELAR)
- Speech Language and Hearing Disorders, All Levels, Initial [specialist teacher] license
- Have a minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting preferred
- SEI endorsement or the willingness to work toward certification
- Be bilingual in either Spanish or Haitian Creole; and
- Be able to speak authentically about the imperative for diversity, equity, and inclusion in schools and recognize how your identity impacts your work.

Our teachers and staff:

- Expect to be on-campus from 7:30-4:30 PM daily;
- Assume responsibility of and coverage for students outside of the classroom commensurate with their position;
- Attend weekly meetings/professional development and receive personalized coaching;

Our Speech Language Pathologist will expect to:

- Provide small group and/or individual speech and language therapy for identified students in grades 5 through 12 with articulation, communication, auditory, or language processing disorders;
- Maintain records on the initial evaluation, progress, and discharge of students to identify problems, track progress, and justify treatment;
- Develop an individualized plan of care for each student;
- Provide present levels of speech and language functioning and speech and language goals and objectives for students IEP;
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, special educators, audiologists, and families;
- Develop and implement individual or group programs and support classroom activities;
- Use qualitative and quantitative assessment methods, including screenings, standardized tests, and special instruments, to analyze and diagnose the nature and extent of speech and language impairments and to measure progress toward IEP goals and standards;
- Write comprehensive speech and language evaluations;
- Participate in grade level team meetings, faculty meetings, Intervention and Referral Services meetings, and Child Study Team meetings as necessary;
- Attend weekly meetings/Professional Development and receive personalized coaching; and
- Assume responsibility of and coverage for students outside of the classroom
