**In this role, the Bilingual Disaster Assistance Center Coordinator will be responsible for**:

- Serving as a point of contact for partners with Service Center issues or questions.
- Monitoring the Center’s supplies/equipment and identifying issues or needs to participating agencies or other partners, as needed.
- Identifying ways to improve site layout and flow for client satisfaction, as needed.
- Collecting and reporting basic data on service center activity.
- Reviewing invoices and verifying supplies ordered are received at the site.
- Troubleshooting facility issues, addressing user-level technology issues, and providing other assistance to help with site operations.

**In this role, the Bilingual Disaster Assistance Center Coordinator must have the following qualifications**:

- A bachelor’s degree.
- More than two (2) years of experience in emergency management, humanitarian assistance, social services or other relevant areas.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Local residence in NYC or within commuting distance of NYC.
- **Must speak Spanish.**

**Preferred qualifications for the Bilingual Disaster Assistance Center Coordinator include**:

- Experience in an EOC environment, either during activations or exercises.
- A background in human services or case management in a disaster and/or humanitarian setting.
- Familiarity with the Incident Command System (ICS), National Incident Management System (NIMS), or other emergency management concepts.

**Salary**: The salary range is 65-100k. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
