Our latest project is a state-of-the-art simulator that visualizes the movement of satellites, aircraft, and marine vessels across a complex, multi-layered 3D environment from space to underwater.

**Role Summary**:
We are seeking a talented Senior Unreal Engine Developer with a strong background in creating realistic, large-scale virtual environments. This role requires a deep understanding of Unreal Engine, advanced skills in 3D graphics, and real-time simulations, aimed at crafting an immersive world that integrates dynamic data visualization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and optimization of a realistic 3D simulation environment using Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate real-world data depicting the movements of satellites, aircraft, and boats.
- Craft detailed environmental effects including the dark of space, atmospheric phenomena, diverse terrain, ocean surfaces, and underwater settings.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the simulation across different platforms, enhancing user experience.
- Produce technical documentation and maintain detailed project records.
- Mentor junior developers and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones within set timelines.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with Unreal Engine, focusing on developing extensive environments and simulations.
- Expertise in C++ and Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine.
- Proven ability in implementing realistic lighting, textures, and physics-based simulations.
- Strong foundation in 3D mathematics and physics principles.
- Experience with real-time data integration and visualization.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- US citizenship required.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience with VR and AR technologies.
- Familiarity with GIS and remote sensing.
- Knowledge of aerospace or maritime industries.

Pay: $90,029.18 - $108,422.24 per year
