- $52,000 (+ $3,400 Location Pay)**Description**- Serve as a level three conduct officer and assist with coordinating the disciplinary process for the College.
- Adjudicate alleged violations of the code of conduct via initial conferences, administrative hearings, and appeals, as needed.
- Assist in case management through Maxient database, including but not limited to routing incident reports, uploading University Police reports, creating cases, etc.
- Serve as an educator for the campus community at large as needed, including participation in orientation and welcome week programs, FYE seminars, professional and para-professional staff training.
- Serve to educate the campus community on the educational mission, purpose, policies, and procedures of the campus discipline system.
- Assist in developing assessment and/or evaluation methods for the Office of Community Standards.
- Serve as a generalist in the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, including participation in divisional and university committees, and serving as a student advocate within the College community.
- Assist the Office of Community Standards with departmental initiatives and projects.
- Assist in the coordination/scheduling of hearings for alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct, including alleged violations of interpersonal violence related to College policy and/or federal, state, or local laws as needed.
- Liaise directly with appropriate College offices and personnel on discipline-related issues
- Assist the Director for Community Standards in developing reports regarding case statistics and information; policy review; development and implementation; educating campus constituents on student discipline and judicial manners; bi-weekly, monthly, and annual statistics.

- Bachelor’s degree from a college or university is required. Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in Community Standards/Judicial Affairs, Residence Life, or related field required. At least one (1) year working in the student conduct office directly adjudicating and managing multiple student conduct cases is preferred. Demonstrated ability to adjudicate cases one-on-one and assist a hearing board in adjudication preferred.
- Experience with Maxient Conduct Manager system is preferred.
- Ability to work with highly complex and difficult student situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively, and collaboratively, with students, staff, and faculty as well as a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Strong organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to develop and present educational programs, presentations, and/or workshops.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
