Hyannis Yacht Club (HYC), located on the shore of Lewis Bay, is widely recognized as the premiere sailing venue on Cape Cod by providing the best youth programs and overall waterfront experience. HYC is a private club dedicated to the sport of yachting. We provide our members and their families the opportunity for seamanship and navigation education, exceptional sailing and swimming instruction, competitive racing opportunities, fun and engaging social entertainment, and excellent dining available including a year-round private restaurant and bar at The Captain’s Table.

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Front of House Manager, the Hyannis Yacht Club Valets are part-time employees overseeing the front grounds of our property, assisting our customers outside of the building, and parking cars upon request from our members. Our valets primary responsibility is member service outside of our building.

The benchmarks for a successful valet are outstanding member service outside of the building, a safe and orderly parking lot, and a work area that exudes the high standards of service promoted by the Hyannis Yacht Club.

**Day to Day Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent member service to all yacht club members upon arrival and departure from our club
- Maintain a safe and orderly parking lot, with accountability for members’ cars and personal belongings (keys)
- Maintain the grounds in the front of the building to make a fabulous first impression when members arrive at the club

**Schedule**

Valet hours vary based upon the time of year and reservations. Schedules are provided on a weekly basis. Staffing is usually one or two valets.

**Compensation**

Valets will be paid $15 per hour plus cash tips. Valets are responsible each day to report to the Front of House Manager on Duty the amount of their tips for accounting purposes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
