Administrative-managed Care Clerk

**Requirements (including but not limited to)**:

- Demonstration of strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours,
- Demonstrated organization skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to distinguish between decisions made independently using a pre-designed plan and decisions made through coordination with a registered clinician or manager.
- Ability to effectively and accurately communicate in English both verbally and in writing, including the use of medical terminology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of clients, staff and records.
- Ability to meet physical demands of job description.
- Ability to deal effectively with stress required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions required.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately handle several tasks at once required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction required.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college, executive secretarial or business courses strongly preferred.
- Thorough working knowledge of health insurance issues and coverage, required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Typing and general secretarial skills required.
- Computer experience required. (Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PtCt, Meditech).
- One year experience in a busy, complex medical office or equivalent required.
- Home health experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate 100% accurate transcription of medical terminology
- Active and valid driver’s license.
- COVID Card

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
