**Summary/Objective**:
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with engineering teams to gather design requirements and specifications necessary for manufacturing processes.
- Create detailed designs and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design requirements.
- Must be willing to work on a rotational schedule that includes nights and weekends, as required by production demands.
- Communicate with various divisions within the company to gather updates on the status of ongoing jobs and relay information to relevant stakeholders.
- Create, maintain, and update work orders using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, ensuring accurate documentation of manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to order materials or parts required for production jobs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and parts to prevent shortages and ensure smooth production operations.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and managers to prioritize job orders based on deadlines and resource availability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in communication, data management, and material ordering procedures.

**Skills/Knowledge/Abilities**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials management principles is a plus.
