**Hazeltine Nurseries, Inc., Located in Venice, FL has an immediate opening for an Experienced Office Manager to manage our construction department's office.**

**Company Location**: 2401 N. River Road in Venice

**Hours**: Mon-Friday, Full time 40+ hours a week. 7am-4pm with additional overtime available

**Job Duties: An office manager at HNI completes the following tasks**
- Works directly with the Vice President of Construction to manage the office.
- Responsible for paperwork, coordinating contractors, and processing invoices.
- Maintains databases and collects expense data.
- Supports the project and business goals through planning and management of site construction personnel
- Monitors compliance with building and safety regulations
- Manages financial aspects of the construction office, including payroll, invoicing clients, and tracking project expenses against budgets including scheduling appointments, calendar management, completing proposals, etc.
- Assists the project managers with take offs and proposals as needed.
- Oversees the laborers and work crews to ensure procedures are followed and helps with the workflow, ordering, and scheduling appointments.
- Assists the department with taking leads and providing information to customers regarding the flow of work.
- Works with the accounting department to ensure that proposals are completed correctly to ensure that work orders can be created.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Unconditional Job Requirements**:

- 5-7+ years' experience in a busy Administrative Position, preferably a construction company or similar industry.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- Intermediate MS Office, calendaring, data entry.
- Process and procedure oriented person.
- Proven clear thinker, well organized, levelheaded, and solutions oriented.
- Self-starter, efficient, productive, works well with a team.
- Leads by example.

**What do we do here?** We are a landscape design build company with a full team of architects, a construction installation department and a full-service Garden Maintenance Department as well as our very own retail center

**Salary, benefits, incentives, extras**: Starting hourly rate is $20-$25 per hour depending on experience. We offer medical, dental, PTO, Paid Holidays and an annual clothing allowance for HNI Attire
