American Meat Companies was founded by Ron and Mariellen Day in a small meat locker in Anaheim, California. From our very modest beginnings in 1975, American Meat Companies has grown to become one of the largest meat purveyors in Southern California and has expanded to a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, Texas.

We produce a full line of steaks, hamburger patties, pork chops, and poultry items, and we make them to specification.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.

Actively listen to customers to understand their needs and recommend products or services that align with those needs.

Conduct outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell additional products or services.

Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product features, pricing, and availability.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify sales opportunities, track customer interactions, and follow up on leads.

Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives on a consistent basis.

Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions in a professional and efficient manner.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends.

Utilize CRM software to manage customer accounts, track sales activities, and report on sales performance.

Work closely with other departments, such as Production and product development, to support sales initiatives and improve the overall customer experience.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inside sales, customer service, within the Foodservice industry, Protein industry or a related field strongly preferred.

Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in CRM Software, Aspen preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic sales environment.

**Additional Information**:
This is a Non-Exempt, full-time position based on-site in Pico-Rivera, CA

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
