**SUMMARY OVERVIEW**

The Supportive Housing Program Manager (SHPM) is responsible for coordinating and implementing project and program activities, implementing strategic operational plans, and overseeing resource management. The SHPM is a master's level prepared professional with psychosocial experience who participates in the coordination of behavioral health and health related social needs programs and services for designated resident populations. In collaboration with the Community Housing Senior Director, the SHPM leads the program's Tenant Resource Counselors (TRCs) and other Supportive Housing Program (SHP) staff to ensure that the services of the SHP are delivered in an effective, professional and caring manner, and that program activities fall within specified timeframes and budgets. The SHPM fosters effective communication and ensures that their team's work remains aligned with agency mission and goals, resulting in exceptional supportive housing programming. This role includes providing clinical case consultation in a supervisory capacity, overseeing fidelity to evidence-based programs, and helping to develop and implement new services related to the health, mental and behavioral health, and overall wellness of SHP residents. It may include training TRCs on topics of a clinical nature as needed.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Duties 1-19 are designated as ADA essential functions and must be performed in this job. All other job duties are secondary functions.- Participate in hiring, training, conducting performance evaluations, administering performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions related to TRCs and other SHP staff
- Provide individual clinical supervision to TRCs and other SHP staff on a regular and as needed basis, including ensuring adherence to mandated reporting requirements
- Use a person-centered approach to work with SHP residents (either indirectly through supervisees, or directly when warranted) who are experiencing emotional/mental health challenges to: assess their needs, help stabilize them and link them with long-term therapeutic services, as needed. This includes collaborating with the resident and outside providers, providing crisis intervention, and offering information and referral.
- Become knowledgeable of local resources and programs, both mental health-related and otherwise, and facilitate or make referrals as needed
- Facilitate or provide advocacy, support, and assistance in areas commonly affected by mental health diagnoses such as: housing, hoarding, substance use disorder, medication compliance, and communication with providers
- Conduct outreach to local providers behavioral health programs
- Participate in the local Mental Health and Aging Coalition task force, and other mental health provider groups, as relevant
- Seek to develop and implement new services related to the health, mental and behavioral health, and overall wellness of Supportive Housing Program residents
- Participate in or conduct SHP team meetings
- Communicate agency and program goals to SHP staff, and assist them in understanding how these connect to program activities
- Ensure best possibly fidelity to evidence-based programming (EBP) during its implementation, including the conducting of evaluations, gathering of data, and reporting on outcomes
- Train in, and teach, EBP when needed
- Plan and implement SHP programming and initiatives in accordance with agency goals and within required timeframes and budgets
- Participate with Supervisor in budgetary process, and overseeing reporting to funders and regulatory bodies
- Participate and take an active role in agency meetings, provider relations, and community partnerships; engage in related outreach efforts
- Project a positive image when representing the agency, both internally and externally
- Conduct other tasks as assigned by direct Supervisor
