Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Assuming responsibilities of initial patient referral/intake including communication with patients, pharmacy team, prescription processing, medication shipping arrangements, and initial patient orientation;
- Interacting with patients via the telephone to enroll patient in the pharmacy platform, discuss medications ordered, review patient medical history, arrange delivery of medications and assist in other patient care coordination;
- Interacting with ordering provider, pharmacy team, and billing company to ensure accurate patient information and processes;
- Performing inventory management, including receiving, storage, and replenishment of medication and supplies throughout the pharmacy;
- Under the supervision of the pharmacist, preparing prescriptions to be dispensed including selecting and pulling medications and supplies from stock shelves, counting medications, and labeling the final product for dispensing;
- Packaging and organizing daily patient orders for delivery and shipment;
- Tracking patient packages via FedEx or courier service to ensure timely delivery of patient medications;
- Responsible for all data entry into multiple workflow systems for end-to-end order process.
- Maintaining patient care database by entering new information as it becomes available; verify findings and reports;
- Maintaining quality service by following organization standards;
- Preparing required and requested reports.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
