PPG is hiring Quality Assurance Technicians for all shifts. The Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech) ensures that we manufacture safe and high-quality products. This role is responsible for efficiently and accurately performing tasks related to the testing of product, setting of samples, and follow-thru on several Quality Assurance programs.

- **Responsibilities**:_
- Must understand customer specifications stated in QA manuals
- Perform/evaluate results for test procedures used for food processing pouch food products
- Assist QA Supervisor during new product start-ups or special projects as needed
- Maintain communication with other departments and employees as to notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
- **Requirements**:_
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers and decimals
- Ability to deal with problems independently and use good judgment when required
- Ability to read and understand written forms and packaging labels
- Ability to write information clearly on forms and log sheets
