Essential role in the delivery of patient care. The transporter helps to move patients to different areas of the hospital, such as within the Emergency Department, Radiology, and inpatient areas.
Hourly Min= $15.00
Hourly Max= $17.16
- Ensure that beds and stretchers are set for patient use including placement of IV poles, safe operations of bed and stretcher in corridors, and safe and secure placement of oxygen cylinders.
- Ensure that wheelchairs and barcos are set for patient use including placement of patient chart, safe operation of the wheelchair in corridors and safe and secure placement of oxygen cylinders.
- Operate other transporting equipment and products as needed including the morgue cart, blood products/patient labs, pharmacy products, and other patient care equipment.
- Utilize the zone phones to communicate with staff on patient needs.
- Provide customer service to patients and internal colleagues.
