**How this role supports our mission**:
This full time position is responsible for the management of youth reengagement centers, and positions GISA to address the unique needs of the local youth population. This position will manage operations of four youth reengagement centers that provides multiple programming and services that will include, but are not limited to: Managing multiple funding sources and grant requirements; serve as point person for community engagement, and special populations for youth staff and youth programs; collaborate with United Way to implement data mapping process to assist with identifying minority youth populations; assist with grant writer and Vice President of Community Engagement with RFPs to grow programming; develop and implement relationships with other organizations to improve outcomes for youth served; coach, develop, and support re-engagement team members; facilitate positive youth trainings and other specific re-engagement trainings; collaborate with GISA program managers on programming.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To**:

- Works with the Vice President of Community Engagement to plan, implement and manage programs and services that serve opportunity youth.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, Inc., and employees and individuals receiving services.
- Responsible for assisting Vice President of Community Engagement in developing, implementing, and satisfactorily completing Program short-term and long-term plans to attain the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Assists managers in preparation of the annual planning documentation and budget pertaining to the assigned programs, and upon approval of the budget, ensures the implementation within the proper time frame, reviewing the variance analysis reports to determine if corrective actions or adjustments are required.
- Responsible for assisting with the efficient and effective operation of all Youth Reengagement Centers.
- Responsible for leading staff members with managing youth behaviors in the youth reengagement centers.
- Responsible for managing programs, services, or projects, as assigned by the Vice President of Community Engagement.
- Responsible for developing reports and management information systems which give necessary, clear, and timely data by which to evaluate assigned programs, services, or projects’ efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for coordinating services between Goodwill and other service providers for maximum benefit to program participants and trainees for assigned programs, services, or projects.
- Responsible for working with assigned staff to develop goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and priorities for the best utilization of company resources.
- Responsible for assuring that all assigned programs, services, or projects are implemented and managed in a professional, timely manner in accordance with grant, service delivery, funding or other established guidelines and in accordance with established budgets.
- Responsible for supervising assigned staff in a professional, cooperative manner for providing assigned staff with the skills and knowledge needed to transition their program, service, or project to less intensive supervision/direction.
- Responsible for scheduling and assigning staff to cover youth reengagement centers.
- Responsible for striving to uphold and promote the public image and reputation of the organization in such a manner as to promote Goodwill.
- Responsible for assisting to develop, implement and fund new, innovative programs as per assessment of community needs.
- Stay informed on any policy, procedure, or activities that affect the program including CARF regulations and federal regulations related to funding source (conditions of awards).
- Participate in all required trainings provided by funding source and GISA, as needed.
- Serve as the representative of Goodwill in the community and engage in community outreach, resource development, and networking activities in order to grow and market Goodwill, including funding sources or partnerships.
- Keep Vice President of Community Engagement informed of unusual and/or crisis situations as they arise.
- Ensures all safety rules are adhered to and the general upkeep of the facility meets the standards of Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, Inc. Reports accidents or injuries immediately

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or related field required; Master in social service, education or related field preferred; Experience may be substituted for graduate degree.
