Housekeeping Staff
Job Description: Join our team at HōM Flats as a member of our Housekeeping Staff, where you'll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and attractiveness of our residential communities. As a Housekeeping Staff member, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that our properties are pristine and inviting for our residents and visitors.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Cleaning Services: Perform thorough cleaning of residential units, common areas, and public spaces according to established cleaning standards and schedules. This includes but is not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning windows.
2. Restocking Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other housekeeping materials. Restock supplies as needed in residential units, common areas, and designated storage areas to ensure availability for residents and staff.
3. Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated receptacles throughout the property. Empty trash cans, replace liners, and ensure that trash disposal areas are clean and odor-free.
4. Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance staff with light cleaning tasks and spot cleaning as needed. Notify supervisors of any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while performing housekeeping duties. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
1. Previous Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or cleaning-related roles preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and products used in residential and commercial settings.
2. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Ability to notice and address small issues or areas of concern before they become larger problems.
3. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
4. Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision.
5. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to achieve common goals. Willingness to assist with other housekeeping tasks and projects as needed.
6. Customer Service: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors. Willingness to interact positively with residents and respond to their needs and inquiries courteously and professionally.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
