This is a hybrid Teller (60%) and Receptionist (40%) position. The Receptionist and Tellers serve as the first point of contact for clients at First Community Bank in person and through telephone contact. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers with inquiries, account updates, and general information
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customers and addressing their needs
- Process transactions accurately, including debits, credits, and cash handling
- Upsell products and services to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets
- Perform cash management duties, including opening and closing cash registers
- Detect and prevent fraud by following established protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or related field is a plus
- Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of financial services industry is an asset
