HR Associate Full Time Days

Position Summary: The HR Associate provides assistance and support to the Human Resources department with processes and other functions as needed, including front desk reception, record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
- Customer service functions
- Assists with employee questions
- Must have the ability to follow directions and complete assigned responsibilities on time
- Answers department phone calls and greets, employees, visitors and guests
- Maintains HR Mailbox
- Prints new badges and replacements as requested
- Send badge/parking forms to Parking and Payroll in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
- Files documents into appropriate employee personnel files
- Verifications of Employment
- Unemployment Claim forms
- Assists, retrieves mail and prepares correspondence as requested
- Prepares new-employee files
- Responsible for ordering office supplies as requested
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- Other duties as assigned
**Minimum Education**
- High school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Education**
- Certificate in Human Resources
- Associates degree in human resources or related field
**Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications**
- Two years of customer service or administrative experience
- Ability to be a positive role-model at all times, including exhibiting professionalism, appropriate appearance and demeanor
- Ability to be punctual and flexible, as well as ability to adhere to standards set by HPMC in all areas
- Practices confidentiality with sensitive information
- Have the ability and willingness to work well with others
**Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation**
- Los Angeles County Fire Card (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
