Midwest Power Products is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and lead our maintenance team to success. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our valued employees.

***Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement effective preventative maintenance schedules.
- Build and lead a top-notch mechanical and preventative maintenance team focused on keeping production equipment in excellent condition, maintaining high line efficiencies, and ensuring an adequate supply of spare parts.
- Coordinate with external contractors for installations and projects at the facility, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to deadlines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of maintenance team members, collaborating with HR on employee matters such as discipline, termination, and recruitment.
- Oversee the activities of the safety team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Analyze and resolve work-related issues, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate time and maintenance records for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Develop compelling justifications for capital equipment investments in machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
- Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials to ensure an uninterrupted supply for maintenance activities.

***Qualifications**
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing people and projects.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with team members and peers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, fostering positive working relationships and a strong team spirit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 6 years in a leadership position managing people and projects.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices in maintenance management.
- Proven track record of implementing successful preventative maintenance programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
