We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper & Office Manager who will report to the CEO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Key Responsibilities:

- * Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and submit monthly corporate credit card transactions
- Reconcile bank statements
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Generate financial statements and reports and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Assist in the preparation of annual and semi-annual budgets, expense forecasts, and ensure spending is in alignment with the budget
- Manage all human resources-related activities for incoming, current, and outgoing personnel
- Process payroll for (eight employees)
- Ensure compliance with California Privacy regarding payroll and personnel files
- Monitor and distribute 401k plan correspondences and disclosures for employees
- Arrange annual employee review meeting with Merrill Lynch on 401k updates
- Perform general office management tasks
- Manage and supervise working relationships with consultants and vendors for office space, accounting, IT, legal services, and more
- Maintain all external contracts, corporate filings, insurance, and related legal activities
- Assist with domain and trademark management
- Coordinate and manage all internal training for employees
- Assist in the scheduling of and preparation for biannual Board meetings, budget meetings, and other internal meetings as necessary
- Coordinate with IT consultants to ensure computers and office systems run smoothly
- Assemble agenda updates/revisions from department heads and prepare final agenda for weekly staff meeting *Preferred Skills:

- * Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and advanced experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency with PC and MacOS
- Ability to communicate specific technical information with IT and technology consultants
- Ability to manage workload for effective implementation
- Effective in a collaborative environment *Other Requirements:
