Our treatment team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, Child Development Specialists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Registered Behavior Technicians. Through six comprehensive programs, our caregivers, specialists, and therapists empower and challenge every person in our care to look beyond limitations and grow toward a life of independence, joy, and fulfillment.
**Position Summary**:
The RBT provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention to children between the ages of 2-18 years old with a diagnosis of Autism. The RBT will play a crucial role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to assist patients in improving socially significant behaviors. The RBT collaborates with other UP clinical team members to enhance multidisciplinary support for each child. The RBT provides caregiver support and training and documents progress towards achieving caregiver goals. The RBT documents daily goals, daily goal and maladaptive behaviors using electronic data collection. The RBT logs their clinical and administrative time daily and receives caregiver signatures for all sessions.
**Requirements**:
- RBT Certification: Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician certification.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience: At least two years’ prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
- Adherence to Ethical Standards: Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA therapy.
- Scheduling: Treatment sessions may be scheduled for morning shifts (8am-12pm), midday shifts (12pm-3pm), or late afternoon shifts (3pm-7pm). This position requires up to 25% local travel.
- Must successfully pass job-related health screening, background check, have current CPR certificate, and provide a valid drivers license and auto insurance.
