**Job Summary**:
Role of our Junior Buyer is to use analytical and sales data of the company to effectively estimate future product demands. Duties will include planning inventory needs by analyzing statistical data and generating forecasting solutions using our inhouse buying programs. Our programs have forecast models developed using gathered information from sales and trends. You will be reviewing historical sale trends, looking at demand in the market and availability of goods. With the knowledge of our internal buying programs, our buyers will be able to correctly predict customer demand and provide appropriate Purchase Orders to meet customer demand. We are continuously refining our IT programs/systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so the company can better anticipate accurately our needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the strategic sourcing of goods and services through research and review, analysis, negotiations, contracting and implementation in support of various departments.
- Manage purchase orders, including manager approval and documentation.
- Source and maintain strong vendor communication.
- Negotiate with vendors for best pricing, mode of shipping, and delivery time.
- Ability to forecast supply and demand

**Required Skills**:

- 1-3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, retail experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s in supply chain or relatable a plus.
- Knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- High proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and ability to quickly learn operating system
- Superb communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Must be motivated, focused, and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt to change and shifting priorities
