**PVD Operator**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Ability to set-up, operate and perform quality checks on all aspects of the PVD department
- Ability to schedule machines per production requirements
- Set up and operate the Goetze polish and super finish equipment
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work with supervision and engineering
- Observe all safety policies and quality requirements for the PVD area
- Help provide training to new operators that may require working on different shifts
- Adherence to the Job Instructions within the PVD area
- Monitor tooling inventory
- Ability to do general maintenance on the PVD area
- Ability to run all operations within the PVD area
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication and math skills
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Possess problem solving skills
- Facial hair and/or other obstructions to the sealing of the mask that may be required to wear are not allowed
