**Job Title: Truck Scale Clerk**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and manage the truck scale to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Schedule and coordinate truck arrivals and departures to ensure efficient workflow.
- Enter and track data accurately in QuickBooks, ensuring all records are up-to-date and precise.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze data, generating reports as needed.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Must have prior experience working at a scrap yard, **but not required.**:

- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- **Language Skills**: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track and record data.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 46 per week
