Are you an early childhood professional interested in bringing your insight and experience to make a significant impact in the lives children as their LEAD Teacher?

We are ready for an enthusiastic early childhood professional to join the FBCCCDC Faculty Family comprised of long-serving, dedicated professionals who passionately embrace the children for whom they provide care and early learning. The FBCCCDC embraces and implements a comprehensive, holistic program that supports growth across all developmental domains supporting a child's internal sense of wonder and awe and natural inclination for hand-on exploration and discovery.

Lead Teaching Team Member Qualifications~
- BA in Early Childhood Education or related field, an AA in Early Childhood Education (persons with a CDA may also be considered)
- Prior classroom experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of age and developmentally appropriate practices that are brain-compatible
- Strong written and communication skills
- Willingness to receive and respond to feedback
- Willingness and readiness to independently explore study new philosophies and implement new practices consistent with the FBCC CDC

Co-Teaching Team Member Qualifications~
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior childcare/day care/ camp/ tutoring experience

Our Lead and Co-Teachers work together to~
- Create dynamic active and participatory lesson plans
- Individualize and differentiate planned and prepared learning for each child
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Design an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children
- Interact with the children to support exploration, discovery and learning
- Present expectations appropriate to the child’s age and development
- Plan and implement activities that develop social and emotion learning
- Communicate appropriately, accurately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
- Create care and early learning for children cooperatively, collaboratively and collegially
- Document and reflectively respond to daily observations of children’s interactions with others in the care and early learning setting
- Continue learning and implement strategies that promote each child’s safety and success
