**About You**
We’re currently searching for 1-2 above average waitstaff superstars to add to our team We are seeking experienced servers who love to engage with customers, make folks smile, and be the reason a guest comes back time and again We don't believe in over-scheduling and assigning tiny sections with way too many servers on the floor where nobody makes any money, so experience and competence in a fast paced, high volume establishment is critical :) Our team works hard to have each other's backs and truly display teamwork at all times, so being a team player is incredibly important to us as well.

Personality is key for us We're a relaxed, fun environment with a focus on our guests having a great time. Experience is required, but who you are is more important. If you have 25 years of serving experience, but it would be more fun to get on the phone and try to cancel our cable subscription, it’s probably a no from us. We want to have a blast working together, and we want our guests to leave your table already planning their next visit because of YOU.

Jake & Kayleigh (owners) created Presidential Brewing Company to be a place of community, gathering, and relationships. We didn't set out to sell the most beer, win the most awards, or tell everyone why we're the best at everything. Quality is important to us, sure - but even more important is making everyone in our space feel welcome and at home - guests and staff alike. We're a small, locally owned business, and you'll frequently see us in the building leading trivia or karaoke, running food and washing dishes on a busy day, fixing broken things...or having a beer at the bar with regulars :)

Our taproom is incredibly laid back and casual - we're not a pretentious fine dining establishment. Our menu is made up of classic comfort foods with our own twist - most of our dishes incorporate our beer in some way We brew a variety of beer, cider, and seltzer styles, and strive to have something for everyone - even the folks who don't like beer.

Events are a big part of what we do too, and we're thrilled to be able to host them We host things like live music and open mic nights with local artists, crafting workshops, trivia nights, karaoke nights, and more. Some of our favorite days of the year are our big event days like Presidents Day (our anniversary party), 4th of July Week, Kalamazoo Beer Week, Founding Fathers Day, and others.

We care a lot about our community and our people here, and strive to create a space where people genuinely enjoying coming to work. We expect everyone on our team to work hard and get the job done efficiently and with a great attitude, and in return, we're here to support you however we can. It's important to us to be accessible and available to our team at all times, and encourage staff to utilize our open-door policy whenever concerns or questions arise. Responsibilities are exactly what you'd expect ;) We do have a full service restaurant, so standard practices apply.
