Ciao We are CESARINA, an Italian restaurant in Point Loma. We are looking for a SERVER to join a driven team and be a part incredible family.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role. Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving guests, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, and collecting the bill. To be a successful Waiter or Waitress, you should be polite with our guests and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
- Greeting guests and taking drink and food orders
- Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
- Delivering food from the kitchen and drinks from the bar to the guests
- Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
- Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food
- Performing shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris, and more
**REQUIREMENTS**:
2-year experience as a server
A team player with good communication skills
Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
Very good physical condition and endurance
A high school diploma is a plus

ABOUT CESARINA
Cesarina is a daughter, mother, and grandmother who nurtures her community with her food and hospitality. To sit at her dinner table is to know the true foundation of Italian culture. Coming together and being surrounded by people you love to share delicious food prepared with the same love and care as that of a grandparent. This is the experience that we strive to bring to our guests. The concept began when newlyweds Niccolo and Cesarina moved to San Diego and began crafting fresh pasta at local farmers' markets. Together with their friend Giuseppe, an Italian native who also shared the same vision and passion, an idea was sparked and thus the Cesarina family was born. We are a 150+ seat restaurant with an open-air "Pastificio" where we craft all of our pasta and bread. We pride ourselves on making everything (yes, everything) in-house and from scratch with only the best ingredients, providing service that is both comforting and humbly tailored to each guest, and giving our family on this side of the world a real taste of Italian food culture.
