**About the position**:
Working closely with and reporting to the President & CEO, the part-time Manager of Special Projects will work on various strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned including: provide direct oversight, planning and support for the President and CEO's engagement with external shareholders; implementation of business and community partnered-related initiatives; development and expansion of potential new vendors and business opportunities; and other related projects. Will develop long -term planning for organizational services and facilities, implementing solutions and projects, as approved.

**This is a hybrid, part-time position based in our Lowell MA office, requiring two days per week in the office and a total of 24 hours per week.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of special projects, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Draft schedules for implementation of long-term plans and proposals
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure effective collaboration and resource allocation for project success.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are utilized efficiently and projects remain within allocated funds.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Evaluate the outcomes of special projects, conducting post-project analysis to assess impact, identify lessons learned, and inform future project planning.
- Advocate for innovative approaches and solutions within projects, encouraging creativity and experimentation to achieve exceptional results. Performing other duties as assigned.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods sitting at the desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

**Experience Requirements**:

- At least 2-5 years of related experience preferred, with high-level management experience.
- MBA or BA in Economics, Business Administration or related fields is highly preferred.
- You have experience strategic planning for an organization as well as have managed key relationships (such as executive board) in previous roles.
- You have high success in project management.
- Experience in project management, logistics management, and expediting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in conducting inspections and ensuring quality assurance
- Proficiency in Google Suite and project management software
- Knowledge of STEM education and youth development is a plus
