**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Assembly Team Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for assembling various components into finished products according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and will be eager to join a high growth company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Follow safety protocols and procedures of the company (wearing safety shoes, glasses, and ear protection).
- Use all tools in a safe manner and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Ability to read diagrams and schematics of the product to assure that the assembly is accurate.
- Ensure the quality of the structure by checking the product is level and square.
- Attention to detail, specifically when checking components used on structure build like corner posts, roofs, covers etc. for damages such as dents, and scratches.
- Ability to use torque wrenches to torque bolts to the required specification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Clear understanding of manufacturing information such as front views, bill of materials, drawings, blueprints, order entry systems.
- Ability to problem solve using oral or written instructions to assemble switchboards, panelboards, and proactively identify missing components.
- Utilize various hand tools to accurately install material by closely following established procedures for completing assigned functions.
- Communicate progress of jobs in the area of assignment and identify problem areas or part shortages.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement as well as complete root cause analysis in response to issues with quality or production.
- Assemble copper bussing according to design and checking for correct spacing from phase to phase and ground.
- Work from oral or written instructions from supervision and/or prints, inspection reports, manufacturing information sheets, and standard or near standard wiring diagrams.
- Read shop orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations and clearances required.
- Assemble and fit parts and components to form sub-assemblies, or completed assemblies.
- Assemble and wire control devices, cutting wires to length.
- Make adjustments to insure correct alignment and clearances.
- Install units, pan assemblies and cover up steel, meters, kirk keys, pull boxes, reactors, relays, fuses, MTB assemblies, panel boards, space heaters, transformers, etc. by mounting / bolting into place. Assemble and install bus work such as lug adapters, cross over bus, splices, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:

- Strong ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to multi-task, establish work priorities, and efficiently manage time.
- Proficiency with using a computer and with CAD software to be able to open and follow design of structure.
- Has ability to manage others and take ownership of assigned projects
- Solve all problems on assigned project
- Utilize manufacturing information sheets, determine necessary parts, write requisitions, and obtain materials from stock areas.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as an Assembler in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with assembly tools and techniques
