Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Credentialing Specialist. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications and standards to participate in managed care networks.

**Duties**:

- Conduct primary source verification of provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications
- Maintain up-to-date provider files and databases
- Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to gather necessary information for credentialing purposes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Assist with audits and quality improvement initiatives related to credentialing processes

**Experience**:

- Must have Bachelors' degree
- Previous experience in credentialing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of managed care and medical office operations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with database management systems
