Sydnee's Pet Grooming - Adorable Opportunities is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist at our Irvine, California location. As the first point of contact for our clients, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the overall efficiency of our grooming salon. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and development within our franchise.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Receptionist position at Sydnee's Pet Grooming offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, employees are eligible for a range of benefits, including healthcare, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome clients in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our booking system
- Provide clients with information about our services and products
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Collect payments and process transactions accurately
- Coordinate with the groomers to ensure timely and efficient grooming services for clients
- Assist with basic grooming tasks, such as nail trimming and ear cleaning, as needed
- Keep track of inventory and notify management when supplies need to be restocked
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Follow all safety and health protocols to ensure the wellbeing of pets and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a grooming or pet-related environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Love and understanding of animals and their needs
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
