**Position Overview**:
We are seeking experienced Class B/Class C Drivers to join our team of compassionate professionals. As a driver at Peak Transport, you will be responsible for transporting disabled individuals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their journey. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating access to important programs and services for our passengers. Time slots include:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safe and Responsible Driving**: Operate company vehicles (Class B or Class C) in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- **Passenger Assistance**: Assist disabled passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids as needed.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with dispatch, passengers, and program staff to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed, including the proper use of wheelchair restraints and seatbelts.
- **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to respond calmly and effectively in case of emergencies or unexpected situations.
- **Documentation**: Complete required documentation, including trip logs, passenger records, and incident reports accurately and promptly.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service, showing empathy and respect towards passengers with disabilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class B or Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- **Must get fingerprinted (We will compensate the cost for you)**:

- Previous experience in passenger transportation, especially with disabled individuals, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
- Ability to lift and secure mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
