**Training Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide clinical training and post-training support to all new hires that come into the region (in school/community, in home and in EI Center)
- Assist BTs with RBT process
- Provide in-person training and virtual training sessions/study groups
- Provide field support (in school and in home)
- Host RBT exam prep classes/study support groups
- Interviewing RBTs and other Admin. Staff
- Additional administrative duties and responsibilities as needed

**RBT responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Behavior Technician (BT)s provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
- Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans
- Conduct stimulus preference assessments
- Collect data
- Maintain client's program book
- Develop/create teaching materials
- Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
- Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers
- Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education

**Requirements**:

- RBT Certification
- Previous experience training or leading BTs
- BCBA student
- Previous experience working with children; ASD experience
- Reliability
- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
- Background check clearance upon hire
- Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
- To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to: Stand and move for at least 75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
