_**Duties Related to: Accounts Payable Clerk**_
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, identifying discount opportunities, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
- Pay vendors by scheduling checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Prepare checks for signature
- Understand expense accounts and class
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, etc.)
- Mail vendor checks
- Maintain historical records
- Maintain employee prepaid expense cards including reporting verification, receipt filing, and card funding
- Other duties as assigned

- Perform day to day financial transactions, including computing, classifying, posting, verifying, and recording accounts receivables’ data٫ daily
- Prepare invoices and bank deposits
- Perform reconciliation of the accounts receivable ledger ensuring accuracy and integrity of all payments
- Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Make bank deposits
- Initiates donors thank you letter acknowledgements
- Other duties as assigned
- **Duties Related to: Grant Account Specialist**_
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial grant reports as determined by the grantor
- Review and analyze grant agreements to understand expense requirements, conditions, restrictions, and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations administered by the grantor, and assist in all contract audits, including the preparation of required schedules
- Monitor expenditures and data metrics to ensure compliance with grants and contract guidelines, availability of funds, and appropriateness of expenditure
- Maintain necessary award documentation and files and records
- Ensures the direct costs charged to grants and contracts are available and allowable under sponsor guidelines and Uniform Guidance, when applicable
- Participate in grant post-award matters to support accounting processes and schedules
- Prepare journal entries and perform account analysis for assigned contracts as part of the monthly close and year-end closing
- Assist with year-end reconciliations and preparation for any external audits and assist with the preparation of necessary audit schedules as needed

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping (AP) or associates degree in accounting
- QuickBooks experience a plus
- Microsoft Office experience necessary
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of confidentiality
- Ability to switch between tasks without difficulty
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Ability to work independently and autonomously for extended periods
- Clear communicator

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
