Production Assistant- 2nd Shift

**We are seeking 2nd **Shift Production Assistants **for our **CTI Fabrication Division in Romeoville, IL**

Starting pay for this position is $22.00/hr
- $23.00/hr based on experience. We are also offering a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants

**JOB DUTIES**:
Assist Laser Operators in the efficient processing, delivery and removal of material to and from the laser machines. Specific duties include:

- Operate handling equipment to load and unload tubes/product to/from the laser machine
- Monitor machine when operator is not present and ensure its continued operation; load/unload material and check for general acceptable cut condition of completed parts
- Assist operators with loading and packaging laser cut parts into boxes
- Use quality tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers to conduct quality inspection of parts
- Assist in the secondary operations required to complete parts (tapping, cleaning, grinding)
- Follow all health & safety standards

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in the use of standard inspection measuring tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to perform basic math and trigonometry
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a varying basis throughout work schedule
- Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read blueprints and Bills of Material
