INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION SYSTEM is a family-owned and operated company. We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Stafford, TX.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing shipments, as well as preparing and delivering mail, parcels, and other mail-related items.

**Quality of Work General**
- 1Use system level prints for reference as the customer authorized print to ensure accuracy of product.
- Ensure all parts are checked and conform to print specifications.
- Comply with all quality requirements including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Stop your work if you find a quality related issue. Inform your supervisor immediately.
- Perform your work with the utmost pride, skilled craftsmanship, and a focus on quality and productivity.
- Watch for defective material, scratches, dents, grooves, or poor workmanship from previous instructions.
- Handle materials carefully and be careful not to dent, scratch, or damage materials.
- Do not perform work if you have not been properly trained or are not on an approved operators list.
- Have a forklift certification.

**Responsibilites and Duties**
- Operate Forklift for all warehouse functions to include loading and unloading all trucks
- Order, track, and report inventory and deliveries.
- Manage third-party warehouse inventory.
- Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages.
- Coordinate all shipments for all locations.
- Follow schedules of product distribution.
- Work with carrier and third-party services.
- Document invoices and payment postings.
- Correspond with customers, report client requests.
- Assist logistics coordinator, warehouse specialists, and other team members when needed to meet schedule.
- Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met.
- Notify customers if shipments are delayed.
- Track shipments details, locations, ETAs.
- Communicate with carriers regarding service levels.
- Update shipping system with rates, surcharges, and service standards.
- Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
- Update service-level reports and provide analysis on findings.
- Inform management of ongoing performance issues.
- Take pictures of the product before it ships and upload those photos to the company server.

**Safety**
- Comply with all safety procedures and protocol. Never perform work in an unsafe manner. Report safety concerns to your department supervisor.

**Productivity**
- Maintain a consistent and high level of productivity at all times whether you are working in your assigned department, in another department or working on a task, maintenance activity or project.

**5S- Organization and Cleanliness**
- Comply with all 5S policies and procedures (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Keep your work area clean, neat, and organized at all times.
- Perform all required preventative maintenance activities.

**Labor Reporting & Record Keeping**
- Clock in and out of all jobs you work on in the company time click to report your labor. This includes all work you perform. Labor reporting is to be done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain all company records neatly and accurately that have been assigned to you.

**Product Identification**

Identify all parts and material with work order #’s in the appropriate method.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
