Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic evaluations to assess patients' dental and facial structures
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
- Install, adjust, and remove orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and aligners
- Monitor patients' progress throughout the treatment process
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as an Orthodontist
- Proficient in medical coding and documentation
- Familiarity with dental office software (e.g., Opendental)
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for orthodontic treatment planning
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and occlusion
- Thorough knowledge of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Experience with medical imaging for orthodontic diagnosis (e.g., X-rays, CBCT scans)
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree or a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Active California Dental Board license.
- Further studies in orthodontics, accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA).
- Member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
- In-depth knowledge of various molds and orthodontic appliances.
- Experience using hand tools (periodontal scalers, band pluggers, cutters, pliers) and diagnostic tools (digital X-rays, 3D images).
- Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Outstanding patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Invisalign certified.

Pay: From $1,400.56 per day
