Video Editor

*This job is not all in-person but requires the editor to be local to the DMV area*

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join a brand new production company. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various projects. This role requires proficiency in video editing software and a strong understanding of visual storytelling.

**Duties**:

- Edit raw footage into compelling and visually appealing videos
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
- Ensure that videos are delivered on time and meet the project requirements
- Manage and organize video files and assets

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Strong knowledge of visual storytelling principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
